Zipper Practice

Katie has asked me to help her with something which requires zippers. since I haven't worked with zippers very much or very often, I thought I should have some practice. So I made the triple zip pouch (tutorial from here) that's been showing up all over blogland.

Here's how mine turned out.

I think it turned out okay.  The turning was a little hard and I didn't totally understand what I was doing when it came to sewing the side seams.

Anyway, it was good zipper practice and I am ready to do the real project now.

I don't know what I'll use the bag for, maybe for carrying makeup when I travel.

It looks great to me. You're right, those are all over blogland. I think I'm the only one who hasn't made one. But I want to.

Those zippers look great, and the 30s fabrics are cute.
