I finally did some sewing in my new sewing room!! We were having a baby shower for a friend so I had to get my act together and finish this quilt. I finished the quilt top in 2013 (see posts here and here for pictures).
I didn't have a piece of flannel big enough for the backing so I pieced the white stars on blue with the blue polka dot on white.
I stitched in the ditch around all the squares so the quilting was pretty fast, and the binding is strips of the red, green and yellow. I like a scrappy binding.
And here's a picture of the whole quilt with me and the mama to be.

How fun! I like that red square in the corner too.
Your quilt is lovely! I know the new little and mama will love cuddling under it. Great finish!
