Cookies # 4 - Salted Peanut Butter - Pretzel - Chocolate Chip Cookies
Cookie #4 is the Salted Peanut Butter - Pretzel - Chocolate Chip Cookie.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup quick oats
1 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
12 T. butter
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
2/3 cups crunchy peanut butter
1 large egg
1 t vanilla
1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
2/3 cups pretzel sticks, crushed
Flake sea salt
I followed the instructions in the cookbook -- basically. The recipe called for cooking the cookies for 11-13 minutes -- I only cooked the cookies for 10-11 minutes -- probably should have cut it down to 9 minutes. My YL said this was almost as good as our faves (cookie 1.5).
Here's the picture from the book.
