Busy week. Not much sewing. Actually, none at all.
Tuesday - made biscotti
Wednesday - made biscotti
Thursday - made biscotti
Friday - finished biscotti
Saturday - nada
Sunday - nada
Monday - made no-sew throw
I didn't do any sewing this week .. but figured I would join up anyway just to let you know what's been going on.
My eldest son got married on Saturday, August 24th.One of my responsibilities for the wedding was to make biscotti for each of the guests to take home. I was supposed to make three kinds of biscotti: maple walnut, authentic Italian, and vanilla dipped in chocolate. By Wednesday, I had finished making what I thought was all the biscotti, but I had made maple walnut, authentic Italian, and lemon -- 120 of each. So, on Thursday, I made 120 pieces of vanilla biscotti. On Friday, I dipped it in chocolate, bagged it, tied the bags (using ribbon with the names of the bride and groom and the wedding date), and then I was done.
I'm
kinda tired of biscotti at this point .. I think my favorite ended up
being a tie between the vanilla and the lemon. (Okay, so that's not
picking a favorite ...). I will definitely make those two again.
Actually, the only one I didn't really like was the authentic Italian
one.
I'll do some wedding posts soon.
Anyway, to see how/who joined up for the 15 minute challenge, click here.

You did a lot....making all those biscotti..wow..and congratulations on another married child :-)
Well, congratulations to all of you. Hard to understand how you got any sewing done in the last few months, let alone this week. I can almost taste those biscotti, though. Looking forward to the pics!
I think you must be a biscotti genius at this point. You could probably start your own biscotti business!
Congratulations on surviving making 2873 biscotti, and I cant wait to see those wedding pictures !
Wow, that's an awful lot of Biscotti. I'm amazed you are even contemplating making them ever again.
That's a lot of biscotti! You wouldn't have had time to sew!
