So, a while ago (it's been so long since I've blogged I can't remember when it was) I worked on some blocks for the improv quilt. It took me about two months to make these blocks. Katie tells me that she's making a whole bunch next time so we can actually get around to finishing the quilts ..
The first two blocks are for my quilt...
and these next three are for Katie's. I think I want to add some reds to my quilt so I'll do that next round and I promise it won't take me quite so long. You'd think I was the one who had the baby.
It'll be fun to see how these look when they're finished...

I love doing Improv blocks - adding what you want - however you want is very liberating.

Yay! I've made 3 blocks and 2 are half finished too.
I really like the blue and black blocks. Hope you find some time to finish a few more blocks.
