Last weekend I went to Las Vegas for a conference for work. It was my first time in Las Vegas, other than a couple of layovers -- and those times I was only in the airport. Between the gate and baggage claim, I passed a bunch of slot machines and at least two Starbucks. I think I had to walk two miles to get my bag.
This is baggage claim. I thought I was in Times Square in New York.
The view from my room .. on the 32nd floor.
And another view, this time of the bamboo pool on the 14th floor. Didn't go swimming but the weather was nice enough.
This is from inside the Venetian. They have canals too with gondolas and everything.
I would go back, but I am definitely NOT a Vegas person. There is too much. Just too much. I found it over the top. I'm glad I went, but not planning any return trips.

It looks just like every movie I ever saw about Las Vegas. It doesnt look very "real" does it? I think it would be a cool place to visit though !
wasn't this on your list? I hope you at least had fun? I know I'm not a Vegas person and I've never been. Sadly I want to go to Vegas for it's vicinity to national parks.
I've never been to Vegas and I'm not sure I'd like it either. I kind of want to go there so I can see it, but I think once would be enough too.
Your photos look amazing. Even if stuff seems not real, at least you you've been there and done that. Hopefully you had a good time.
It certainly is an amazing place to visit but very over the top. One of those places you visit just to see if it really is the way it is !!!
Cheers
I felt the same after I went a few years ago. I'm definitely not a Vegas person either, but your photos kinda make me want to go back. :)
