Wings of Freedom

This past Saturday, we took the boys to Moffett Airfield where they had a couple (or three) WWII aircraft (it's called the Wings of Freedom Tour).  For a fee, you can ride in the planes; for an even bigger fee, you can get a flying lesson.  We opted for the smallest fee -- just seeing the planes and getting to crawl through them.  We got there early so that we could see the planes fly.

Turned out there was a whole lot more waiting than I had planned for.  Instead of a one-hour wait to get on the planes, it was three hours.  Not the best thing for three small boys.  But they survived (and so did we) and finally got to crawl through the plane.

Definitely worth the wait, but having done it once, I'll plan better next time.

Looks like the boys had a great time. A 3 hour wait? It must have been a really popular place to be.

Looks like the kind of thing boys would love to do but a three hour wait is beyond my level of patience.

I bet the kids had fun though.
