Cocktail Wednesday - French 75 - revisited

We actually had this one on October 23.  I've been remiss on posting about the cocktails, but not on the preparation and drinking of them!

Anyway, Nevada was in Nevada and my YD's fiancee was not here when we first had the French 75, so we made this one again. 

I got the recipe from here. (again)

Ingredients:

• gin, 1 oz
• fresh squeezed lemon juice, .5 oz
• simple syrup, .5 oz
• champagne/sparkling wine, 3 oz
• lemon garnish

The drinks look very pretty and I enjoyed them... my husband not so much this time.  I'm not sure if he doesn't like sparkling wine in his gin or gin in his sparkling wine.
