Collecting

So, whilst on vacation, we went to an art fair with lots of baskets and hand crafted goodies. I got a few stocking stuffers, but nothing exciting (I'm too cheap to buy much of anything).  However, across the street was a yard sale and I found this for $1 *for #21 on my list.  it's not much but another one to add to my collection.  I really like the glass insert.  I don't think it's very valuable or desirable, but I really like it.

Oh, but it IS desirable when you want it, and even better at that price! I have 3, all from my family homestead, and they were still being used by Grandmother up until she couldn't can anymore. Great find ~

I think you need to pick up the pace.. only 4 months left to get to 52 items, which freaks me out because that means I've only got 4 months to watch 65 episodes of Buffy at the gym...

Do you want to swap?

A great find - and at a bargain price! Just imagine it with some great dried beans or some colorful gee-gaws. Just the ticket!

Thats a crazy bargain Thea. It would be perfect to store ribbons or buttons or pins in and would look really cute ! I haven’t been op shopping in ages.

Im addicted to buying jars and containers...I get why you had to have it !

Great find. I agree with Shay, it would be lovely filled with ribbons or buttons, or dried flowers.
