I've just returned from two weeks vacation in Michigan's Upper
Peninsula. I didn't think I'd be up there this year, but as it turned
out, I spent more consecutive days there than I have in about 35
years. There was swimming, hiking, watching sunsets, eating out, eating
in, eating Mackinac Island fudge (ice cream), a little berry picking
and jam making.
I took a couple hundred pictures and can't figure out which ones to post first -- or how to do it justice so that you could share the trip with me.

Hope you had fun! I am pretty sad not to go this year but being home has been good.
There's that awesome tree!
I wish I could have dropped in. A cocktail on that verandah scoping out the view would have been amazing.
It sounds like you had a wonderful time. I hope you got some relaxing in!
It sounds like quite a busy vacation, but what a fabulous place to be.
I love that tree!
Beautiful images. Hope you got a chance to do some relaxing on the veranda!
Gorgeous!!! So glad you were able to get away!
That place is huge! How many of you were there? Was it only people you know or is it an actual motel?
Looks like you had a great time and I wish I could have been there. Glad you could reconnect with Rachel for such a long time and actually get in a great vacation.
