Cocktail Wednesday - Friday Edition

I'm a little late for Cocktail Wednesday, but I wanted to be sure to post pictures and let y'all know that I did participate this week.

The ingredients for this week's cocktail, named the Brown Cow from Hell are milk, Kahlua, and chocolate syrup.

2 - 3 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1 glass milk
3 - 5 squirts chocolate syrup

I threw it all in a blender with ice and mixed it up so it was nice and frothy.  It was tasty.  I would drink it if someone made it for me but I probably wouldn't make it again.  I'd just as soon have Kahlua and cream (which I had last night).

Just an aside, my mother used to refer to rootbeer floats as "black cows" so I imagine that's where the name came from.  Honestly, I'd rather have the rootbeer float (with A&W rootbeer of course).

I like the idea of adding the ice, that would make it much more like a shake.

It's interesting how different all our tastes are when it comes to cocktails. I found this a tad sweet, but I really liked it.
