I am joining up with the 15 minute challenge again this week.
Tuesday - quilted 10 lines
Wednesday - quilted 10+ lines
Thursday - quilted 10 lines
Friday - finished quilting
Saturday - trimmed quilt; made binding; attached binding to quilt
Sunday - finished sewing binding to the quilt; washed and dried it. - ready to mail
Monday - cut blocks for baby quilt
I
finished my second quilt this year. "time and again." Since I want to take pictures of it in
daylight, it'll probably have to wait until Saturday ... plus I want to wait until it reaches its new home.
I
think the key for me to accomplish more is to plan what I'm going to
do. For instance, last week, I planned to sew/quilt 10 rows each day until the quilt was finished. I think if I had just planned to quilt, I might not have achieved my goals. I made them something easily measured.
As for workspace, that is problematic. Right now my "space" is a corner of a table in my bedroom. The plus is I don't have to completely put everything away when I'm done; the minus is that I'm away from everyone when I sew (this is a minus because if I want to be around everyone, I'm not sewing). Some day I will have more space, just not now. I'll post a picture later .. too early now to get out the camera.

WTG this week would be a good week for me to have my machine with me. but alas I do not so I will just settle for going to the gym and working on project life.
You did great this week. 7 out of 7! Can't wait to see the new quilt.
Sounds like your plan is working for you. I often give myself small goals to accomplish like that too. If you break down a task into smaller chunks its often easier to work towards the finish. Go you!
Great idea to set a specific goal. Can't wait to see "Time and Again"
Great week! I'm finding the monthly goals are more motivating and help me focus better than coming up with annual goals.
I know the trials and tribulations of sharing a space with the guy of the house. We did that in TX and I was adamant when we moved that we found a place where I could have my own sewing space. It's a luxury, I know, but I'm going to enjoy it for as long as I have it.
Congrats on finding time to sew every day last week. It helps me to have small, more manageable goals too. Way to go!
