Soup #1 - Hearty Tomato Soup

So here's the first new soup for the year.  Hearty Tomato Soup from here.

Ingredients:
1 pound ground sausage
1 can crushed tomatoes
16 ounces chicken stock
2 cups half & half
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 tbsp minced onion (I only had one tablespook)
1/4 tbsp garlic paste (I used pressed garlic)
2 tbsp stick butter
2 cups elbow macaroni
6 ounces shredded Parmesan cheese
Salt, pepper, granulated garlic to taste






My pictures don't look as pretty as the original website, but the soup was excellent and very filling.  I would have loved seconds but was way too full. 

Will definitely make this one again.

Looks good. If you want better photos stage it on your counter. Use the bowl rather than the pot (I do this a lot)

I've never tried macaroni in tomato soup. Of course since Campbell's is all we ever make that's probably not surprising.
