Here are pictures of the wristlet I made. Here's a link to the tutorial.
I came home today and the first thing I saw was a list of things that have to be done to our house to get it ready to sell .. and the first thing I saw on the list was "remove sewing stuff". OH NO!!! But when the husband got home, he told me that he had figured a way for me put the sewing machine and table in the closet in my room! Yay! I can still sew -- no excuses now.

super cute! Sorry to hear about your gear going into hiding - you know you can always get it out and put it away each time. I did that for a long time before I had a room.
Yes, I was planning on getting it out and putting it away when I wanted to sew. It'll work out just fine. And if we sell the house quickly, it'll be worth it.
I love this wristlet. I'm terrified of zips but I just read the tutorial and she makes it look easy...please tell me it's easy!
Your fabric choices are beautiful.
Good Luck with the sale of your house.
The zipper was easy. I was going to say not too hard, but I really didn't have any issues with it. I think with a zipper foot it would have been easier, so if you have one of those use it. Also, there was one point in the instructions where she suggested sewing the lining down to the zipper and I didn't, so I ended up sewing it down by hand to get the zipper to work properly -- so I recommend following ALL of her instructions. I will next time.
