Our travels took us through California, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming (a smidgen), Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
(The map is actually North Dakota .. but it's the only map picture I took ...) |
1) I wasn't able to focus the camera correctly,
2) I was asleep, or
3) it was too dark.
We started at 4 a.m. in California
NEVADA
Road work in Nevada .. nice umbrellas. |
IDAHO
I'm not actually sure which state this was .. maybe Idaho, maybe Montana, maybe, North Dakota .. hopefully, Idaho.
It rained in North Dakota or I would have seen the sunrise ..
No pics from then on, until we reached our destination .. I was tired :(.

I always lose steam after the first few hours too! I didn't hardly take any photos while in Michigan.
One of the things I like about reading blogs is seeing so many different places.... and finding out about how people live....It is always interesting....For example....I wouldn't have known about heated car seats if not for blogs! lol
I'm amazed you got there safely ...you seem to be driving on the wrong side of the road except when you hit roadworks in Nevada.
The thing I like about bloggy friends is that I get to see all the sights they see on their vacations. It makes me feel like I'm riding right along with you! Who would have thought I'd visit Idaho!
By the way - that was one LONG drive!
Love Shay's comments about which side you are driving on, it didn't even click that for you that was the wrong side of the road.
Wow what an incredibly long journey. I love to see photos of vacations on blogs too.
Very nice "on the road pictures". Mine never turn out. Which is why we usually have the "photo opp stop rule" in our car. As long as we don't have to be somewhere by a certain time, anyone in the car can call a halt for a photo opp. We end up with road trips that are a lot longer then we expected, but we wouldn't trade the photos!
