I am entering my blue jeans quilt (note the super creative name). I made it using the tutorial for a ragtime quilt from Amanda Jean of Crazy Mom Quilts. This is the first rag quilt I've made.
I used old jeans, some white denim, and some fabric from a friend's stash.
The backing was made from flannel scraps from other quilts I made, mostly baby quilts.
I love the way the backing peeks through on the front and gives it just a little color.

This turned out great! I haven't tried a rag quilt yet but I do have a stack of old jeans needing a purpose...
Oooh how cute is that floral denim!
You did a great job on this quilt Thea . I am such a fan of rag quilts. They always look great!
Makes me want to make a rag quilt. I have a stash of old jeans too. I mostly use them for aprons but a quilt may be just the ticket.
Love your quilt. I have a stash of old jeans too. I usually make them into aprons but I think a rag quilt is just the ticket. Great job.
Great way to recycle! I love rag quilts.
Love rag quilts too. I really love those little bits of colour showing through Too. I like the way you have used the multi colour denim for the border. Fantastic quilt.
What fun! A rag quilt is a thing I have not tried but always they look so snuggly, just like yours! I love the cool front and flashes of colour on the back. :-)

I love to use denim - it is the way to picture "comfort". And yours looks so great. Thanks for sharing!
This is such a fun quilt. Love your photographs too. You staged the quilt beautifully!
This looks like it would be an awesome quilt to snuggle up with. I love how scrappy it is, front and back!
