Favorite Things Friday

I am linking up with Shay at Quilting in My Pyjamas for Favourite Things Friday.

It's 1:10 a.m. and I just got back from taking my YD to meet her boyfriend -- it's his birthday (Happy Birthday Tyler!).  Anyway, he lives about 3 hours from our house so we met him halfway .. but on the drive back I "saw" my FTF for this week.

What? you may ask.  Well, my fave this week is singing and dancing to the radio in the car by myself.  I can sing as loudly as I want, I can dance as goofy as I want and NOBODY cares.  There is no one there to comment on how off key I am or how I can't carry a tune.  I have a great time!

And, because I am sure you were wondering, my favorite car song is Just Dance.  What's yours?

Agreed, it's one if my favourite things too. I love anything embarrassingly 90s (Bon Jovi is a particular fave) and that new Call Me Maybe song.

Next weekend I'm driving to adelaide with a friend and I suspect we'll end up having a bad dancing/bad singing competition.

Heck I do that with people in the car too!

I do too, only when I'm alone. Dancing? Well, I don't have much room for that behind the wheel, but I have been known to do a lot of head bobbing and steering wheel drumming. too many favorite car songs to mention!

This favourite made me smile because in the car is the only time I belt out a tune. There's something totally liberating about it.

My favourite sing a long songs are Gimme Some Lovin' (Spencer Davis Group) and Natalie Cole's version of "this will be ...an everlasting love".

I think I need to go for a drive now!

Great favorite. I sing so badly that even I can't stand it. But the behind the wheel head bob, oh yeah, quilty as charged.
